We arrange a mini-workshop for all participants joining the level 3-exercise 28th of January 2021, focusing on security. Actors from the police, Avinor, Bristow, Securitas and others will participate. Contact person: Pål Erland
We arrange a level 3/full-scale emergency preparedness exercise with Neptune Energy in the period 0900-1400. The exercise is adapted to the current covid-19 situation. The exercise focuses on handling a security incident in Florø. The exercise is carried out in close collaboration with Avinor, the police (Florø), Bristow, Kinn municipality, the Petroleum Safety Authority Norway, Securitas and Widerøe. The entire emergency response organisation of Neptune Energy will be mobilized, including the logistics organisation at the base in Florø. In addition, Neptune's two offshore facilities Gjøa and Deepsea Yantai will be involved There will be no relevant active play with markers, and each actor takes into account current covid-19 routines. There are plans for extensive use of digital collaboration and the opportunities this provides / opens up for. Important exercises objectives are cooperation, coordination and crisis communication between public and private actors who will be involved in a security incident. A separate exercise directive is prepared with specific exercise objectives for each actor, and this is sent out no later than one week before the exercise. A separate acting staff will drive the exercise forward by using Teams. The exercise will be followed up with a separate evaluation seminar at Teams on 23rd of February (1400-1600). A level 2 exerise will be carried out together with Odfjell Drilling and the drilling rig Deepsea Yantai. This exercise will be a preparation for all relevant participants upfront the drilling operation on Dugong. We will use Teams as the main tool for coordination and mobilisation during the exercise. Det gjennomføres table top (0830-1130) og påfølgende nivå 2-øvelse (1200-1600) som del av forberedende beredskapsaktiviteter i regi av Wellesley Petroleum. Wellesley har planlagt boreoperasjon med bruk av Borgland Dolphin på PL 885 Hemisphere. Deltakere fra NOFO, Kystverket, Dolphin Drilling, Well Expertise samt personell fra Wellesley beredskapsorganisasjon deltar både før og etter lunsj. Øvingsleder: Pål

We offer a unique emergency response collaborative partnership on the Norwegian continental shelf. Eight operating companies secure robust, cost-effective and sustainable operations.
Our activities are directed from our emergency response centre at Forus in Stavanger. Two independent situation rooms enable us to manage two incidents simultaneously.
Our evacuation centres are based in the coastal towns of Stavanger, Bergen, Florø, Kristiansund, Brønnøysund and Hammerfest. All is included in the membership.
Skills enhancement courses are provided by qualified instructors at our own competence centre. The courses are included in the membership.
We are able to mobilise a next of kin call centre, staffed with trained personnel and state-of-the art systems, within two hours. All is included in the membership.
A strong team of crisis communication leaders and advisors is ready to join the operators’ strategic emergency response teams within one hour. All is included in the membership.
We carry out more than 130 training sessions and exercises each year. All is included in the membership.
